Science in Action!

Since it’s Museum Month in February, I decided to check out the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center at Balboa Park.  It only costs $5 per person with the pass discount, a very affordable deal to experience this science adventure.  Both levels are filled with science experiments that people of all ages can enjoy.  This is a great way for parents to get their children involved in the sciences because kids gain valuable hands on experience of what science can be applied to.  I played around with the arc model not knowing that it would collapse so easily when I removed the keystone.  It was easy to reassemble the model according to the diagrams though.  Maybe I should pursue a career as an architect or engineer. 🙂

The Reuben Science Center also showcases films in their globe theater for a fee.  I suggest checking their website for showtimes and prices.  This is one museum that will not cease to amaze you.  I guarantee you’ll spend hours playing around with all the gadgets and gizmos, and have a fun time learning too.

    • Thanks! You can get Museum Month passes at any Macy’s in San Diego for free and one pass is good for up to 4 people. Parking at Balboa Park is free as well but it does get busy on the weekends.
